Avondale Family Doctor

Avondale Family Doctor

Avondale Family Doctor offers comprehensive medical care for enrolled patients. The sole GP, Dr. Nasir Khan, two nurses Pam and Nileshnee, and practice manager, Wendy aim to provide prompt, friendly service, with a full range of general practice, family medical, and emergency care.

Our patients can sign up to ManageMyHealth, a free patient portal which enables them to book appointments online with the doctor or nurse, request repeat prescriptions, and access their health records and test results.

Our nurses run clinics for cardiovascular risk assessment, diabetes care management, well women checks, sexual health screening, childhood immunisations, and general healthcare advice.

We are committed to the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi. We recognise the special relationship that Māori, Pacific Islands, and other cultures enrolled with us have with their traditions. We value cultural diversity and strive to be sensitive to our patients’ cultural backgrounds.

Our standard appointment length is 15 minutes. You may request a longer appointment (at an additional fee) when you make your booking.
